Nós teremos no Brasil, pela manhã, nesse mesmo dia, encontro Presencial do fórum. Mas o evento lá começa às 10h no horário do Reino Unido.

Seminar 2: Theorising Learning from Incidents

Webcast

This seminar will take place on 11 June 2014 at University of Aberdeen.   All seminar talks will be webcast. Group discussion sessions and plenaries won’t be webcast. For the full schedule of the seminar see http://lfiseminars.ning.com/theorisinglfi

The seminar will be webcast on June 11 in two parts. Part 1 will start at 10:00 finishing at 13:00 UK time. Part 2 will be from 14:00 to 15:15 UK time.

The second in a series of six events, this seminar will focus on conceptual perspectives on Learning from Incidents (LFI). Leading international scholars, practitioners and early career-researchers from a variety of disciplines – organisational learning, technology-enhanced adult learning, industrial psychology, human factors engineering and leadership studies - will discuss current research from their fields and how this research may help us advance our understanding of effective learning from incidents.

Speakers are:

  • Professor Silvia Gherardi, University of Trento - Practicing safety: Social and cultural learning
  • Professor Rhona Flin, University of Aberdeen – How to have the same accident again
  • Professor Allison Littlejohn, Glasgow Caledonian University – Technology-enhanced professional learning: Implications for LFI
  • Dr Ling Rothrock, Associate Professor, Penn State University – ‘A systems perspective on learning from incidents’
  • Dr Laura Fruhen, University of Aberdeen - ‘Chronic unease’: Not forgetting to be afraid
  • Dr. Jorunn Elise Tharaldsen, Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority -Culture and system for learning
