1. Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards 2020-2022

This booklet show cases awarded and commended good practice examples of the 15th Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards competition, recognising successful prevention and management of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace.
The 2020-22 awards focus on small and large companies and organisations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to actively identifying risks and implementing innovative and effective solutions that reduce or eliminate the threat of work-related MSDs. The examples are sustainable over time and could be transferred to other businesses, sectors or Member States, adding value to existing practices, while taking account of the needs of the majority of European enterprises, that is, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Psychosocial risks and stress Although physical risk factors are usually the main work-related influence on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), workplace psychosocial factors can contribute significantly to the risk of developing MSDs and to exacerbating a pre-existing problem.
