8th WorkingOnSafety.net Conference - WOS2015“Smart prevention for sustainable safety”23-25 September, Porto - Portugalhttp://www.wos2015.net Dear Colleagues, After the successful organisation of seven previous editions of WOS (Denmark in 2002, Germany in 2004, The Netherlands in 2006, Greece in 2008, Norway in 2010, Poland in 2012, and recently Scotland in 2014), the organising commitee invites you to the 8th edition of WOS in Porto, Portugal. The conference will run over three days and will include keynote speeches, parallel technical sessions and a number of social and networking events, including a gala dinner. Our keynote speakers will include: · Jack T. Dennerlein - Northeastern Univ. & Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH), USA· Walter Eichendorf - German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), Germany· Tore Larsson - Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden· Jean-Luc Wybo, MINES ParisTech, France Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to prepare and deliver a presentation at the conference and their abstract will be printed in the Book of Abstracts. They will also have the option of submitting a full paper, which will be considered for publication. Full papers will be peer reviewed and assessed for publication in special issues of some selected international peer-reviewed journals. Important deadlines Receipt of abstracts (500 to 1000 words): March 15th 2015Notification of acceptance: Mid April 2015Receipt of full papers & early registration: July 15th 2015Receipt of presentations: August 31st 2015 We would be grateful if you could share this information with your colleagues and other students who may be interested in taking part in the event.
